Winemaking
It is produced from malted barley dried with peat smoke. After fermentation, the distillate undergoes double distillation in copper stills and ages for 10 years in oak barrels. Depending on the edition, it can mature in refill barrels or receive a finish in Ruby Port wine barrels.
Tasting notes
View:
Bright golden color with light amber reflections.
Nose:
You can see the clean peat smoke. Aromas of lemon zest and red fruits, cocoa and vanilla. Light saline touch.
Mouth:
With an oily texture, it gives off flavors of candied orange, raspberry, cherry and chocolate. The elegant smoke is present but balanced. Long and warm finish, smoke and spicy oak persist. Memories of salty chocolate and a subtle sweetness of red fruits.
