Winemaking
The production of Bellevoye Orange combines the tradition of the French Triple Malt with a bold tropical influence thanks to its secondary maturation in barrels from the Caribbean. Only national barley selected for its quality and aromatic richness is used. The entire process is carried out without adding peat, prioritizing the purity of the cereal, the softness and the fruit profile. Three Single Malts of excellence from three key regions of France (North, East and Southwest) are combined.
Each of the three base whiskeys matures independently for a period of 3 to 8 years in oak barrels within their respective distilleries of origin, acquiring their primary structure and character.
Once the first phase is completed, the distillates are transferred to the brand's cellars in Charentes. There, master blenders carry out precise blending to achieve a harmonious balance between malt freshness and roundness.
After blending, the whiskey rests for several months in oak barrels that previously contained rum from the Antilles and the Caribbean. This secondary finish transfers great complexity, providing complex sugars, a creamy texture and marked notes of tropical fruits, honey and molasses that characterize this expression.
Finally, the liquid is carefully adjusted to an alcohol content of 40% ABV using pure spring water, ready for bottling and final presentation in its exclusively designed case.
