Bellevoye Bleu 70cl. Case
Bellevoye Blue is an innovative French Triple Malt whiskey, created by Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech. It is a pioneering blend that seeks to redefine the excellence of French savoir-faire by uniting the best expressions of malted barley in the country. It is the first and only 100% French triple malt whiskey. It arises from a careful selection of three of the best Single Malt in France from the North, East and South-West regions of the country.
Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech are two recognized figures in the high-end wine and spirits sector in France, also linked to prestigious Bordeaux houses such as Pétrus and Duclot. Both decided to combine their experience and passion to create a brand that would revolutionize the French whiskey market. Although the barley base whiskeys come from different regions of France, the company and its development and refining center are headquartered in the Charentes region of western France.

Winemaking
The elaboration of Bellevoye Blue stands out for an innovative approach that redefines the traditional concept of blend, combining 100% French raw materials with a double stage aging process. Malted barley of French origin is used exclusively, a leading country in the production of this cereal in Europe. The distillates are made without the addition of peat, seeking from the beginning maximum purity, elegance and fruit expression. Unlike a single malt whiskey, Bellevoye Blue is made up of the precise blend of three Single Malts from three different regions of France (typically North/Brittany, Alsace and Charente).
Each of the three components is distilled and aged independently in oak barrels within its distillery of origin for a period of 3 to 8 years. This process allows each distillate to develop the specific character of its region of origin.
Once optimal maturity has been reached, the three whiskeys are transferred to the brand's cellars in Charentes (near Cognac), where the team of master blenders carries out the assembly to achieve a harmonious balance between freshness, roundness and aromatic structure.
After blending, the whiskey is placed in new fine-grained French oak barrels. These barrels undergo an artisanal process of slow toasting at low temperatures. This house technique allows us to extract soft tannins and elegant spicy notes without adding woody aggressiveness to the liquid. The whiskey rests in these barrels for an additional 9 to 12 months, acquiring its distinctive silky texture. Finally, the whiskey is reduced with pure spring water until it reaches the required 40% ABV, ready for final bottling.
Tasting notes
View:
Bright and luminous pale gold, with subtle straw reflections that reflect its passage through new French oak barrels.
Nose:
Delicate and sweet notes of malted cereals and wildflower honey. Presence of white spring flowers combined with a clean and fresh background of ripe orchard fruit. A subtle touch of soft spices from French wood aging.
Mouth:
Frank, round attack, with a remarkably fresh, fluid and silky texture on the palate. Starred by notes of roasted apples, juicy yellow fruits, toasted almonds and a comforting nuance of gingerbread (pain d'épices). The influence of fine-grained oak is integrated with subtlety, providing structure without detracting from the purity of the malt. Medium to long length, clean and extremely refreshing. It leaves a refined and persistent trail that harmoniously balances the liveliness of the fruit with the toasted softness of the wood.
Food pairing
It is best enjoyed alone at room temperature or with a few drops of water in a tulip or cognac glass to let its floral aromas unfold.
Ideal to accompany fine soft cheeses, grilled white meats or delicate desserts made with nuts and apples.
