Winemaking
Exclusively single malt whiskeys are used, which is why it is classified as Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey. It combines malts from different regions of Scotland, especially Speyside and Islay. Each whiskey matures separately for at least 10 years in oak barrels. During this stage it develops its own characteristics according to its origin and type of barrel.
Billy Walker selects and blends different batches of malts to achieve a balance of fruit, spice and peat. After blending, it receives additional maturation in a combination of sherry casks, wine casks and virgin oak casks.
Finally it is bottled without cold filtering and artificial coloring is not added.
