Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Pinot Noir.
Vollereaux Brut Natureis an aromatic and complex Champagne without added sugar, so the dosage is compensated by the strength of the mixture, with wine from 3 previous vintages and its 4 years of bottle aging in the Vollereaux cellars, instead of 3 years as is usually the case. The 40-hectare family vineyard ensures a constant and regular supply of grapes, which contributes to the quality of the Vollereaux Champagnes. The distribution of the vineyard plots and those of the main vintages of the Champagne region allows Vollereaux to produce, depending on its soil and exposure, three traditional grape varieties in the Champagne region. Chardonnay produces white grapes, and Pinot Noir and Meunier produces black grapes. Vollereaux pays close attention to the cultivation of the vine, ensuring that the natural balance is respected. It is essential to harvest grapes of the highest quality when making a great Champagne.
TASTING
View: Light yellow color with silver reflections. The intense and constant effervescence forms a persistent ring of mousse.
Nose: The first nose evokes spicy, chopped notes and light tobacco that, with aeration, gives way to aromas of citrus zest and orange marmalade.
Mouth: The attack is frank and beautifully fresh. The palate is balanced and ends with an attractive lemony finish full of finesse. All these aromas give harmony and a beautiful duration.
