Conceived in 1996 to celebrate the centenary of the founding of its winery, this Crianza, which has more than 20 vintages, remains faithful to the Rioja wine tradition that it represents. Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tempranillo Viña Pomal Crianza is made in a completely traditional way. After destemming and crushing the grapes, alcoholic fermentation takes place. The total maceration lasts two weeks, seeking a smooth, pleasant wine structure with great fruit intensity. Aged for 12 months in American oak barrels, 15% of which are first use.
TASTING
View: Cherry red color with violet highlights.
Nose:
High aromatic intensity, with aromas of violets, black fruits and licorice with nuances of vanilla and roasted coffee.
Mouth:
Soft, fresh and balanced. Very tasty and fruity, with good structure and soft tannins. Service temperature: 16ºC.
