Description
PREPARATION
The aging of whiskey barrels imported from Scotland and Canada takes place in a unique site: a 361 m long tunnel excavated in 1970 that offers ideal conditions for maturation (constant temperature of 14 ° C and humidity of 80%), surprising for its strong character inherited from the meticulous selection of Sherry and Bourbon barrels in which the single malts have aged between 3 and 9 years. Part of its Japanese character is transmitted by the terroir through the spring water used to reduce the alcoholic volume that is extracted from the heart of the preserved mountains of the Sandankyo natural park.
