Winemaking
The whiskey initially matures in American oak bourbon barrels and is subsequently finished in virgin Hungarian oak barrels. Hungarian oak comes mainly from the forests of the Zemplén Mountains, it is appreciated for its fine grain and a more intense level of spice than American oak, but generally more subtle than French oak. This type of wood provides great aromatic complexity without overshadowing the fruity character of the distillate.
Tasting notes

It has an intense gold color with amber reflections, bright and clean.
Nose:
You can appreciate aromas of honey and vanilla, toffee and caramel. Notes of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and orange peel. Toasted oak with a light touch of cocoa.
Mouth:
Creamy and enveloping texture. Flavors of honey, vanilla, ripe fruits and candied citrus. Milk chocolate, almonds and sweet spices. Medium to long finish in which sweet spices and touches of cocoa, vanilla and toasted oak persist.
