Termes 2020 is a red wine made by Bodega Numanthia, a legendary winery in the D.O. Bull. Termes is the youngest wine in the winery. It is a single-varietal Tinta de Toro whose grapes come from old vineyards of 30 to 50 years planted at 700m altitude in tiny plots spread between the municipalities of Valdefinjas and Toro, on the slopes of the Duero River.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tinta de Toro
The harvest is carried out manually at the optimal point of maturation, applying a rigorous selection of clusters in the vineyard. For its preparation, an 8-day fermentation was carried out at a controlled temperature of 26-28ºC, with 2 daily taps. Subsequently, a maceration was carried out with the skins that lasted for 21 days, also applying gentle bazuqueos. After fermentation, Termes was aged for 16 months in first-year French oak barrels with racking every 4 months.

Nose:
Black fruits appear accompanied by notes of scrubland and spices
Mouth:
Its palate is lively and balanced. The fruit is reaffirmed on a background of toffee and cocoa with hints of herbs (thyme, eucalyptus) that give it freshness. A mature and round red wine, with elegant complexity and a long and expressive finish. Service temperature: 17ºC
