Description
PREPARATION
Class Azul Reposado tequila is made 100% with blue agave, in one of the highest points of the state of Jalisco, whose climate and land properties offer a characteristic and unique tequila flavor. Each of the agaves has a maturation period of 6 to 8 years. After collecting their hearts, they require approximately 72 hours of cooking in old masonry ovens. The process gives the pineapples a unique sweetness, which can be easily perceived by its complexity of aromas and flavors. The pineapples are ground to extract all the juices and thus begin the fermentation process, induced by their own yeast, made especially for Clase Azul. After several days, the tequila is double distilled, considering a wide cut of “heads” and “tails” that guarantee that it is of the highest quality. And masterfully aged for 8 months in bourbon barrels, this exceptionally smooth tequila is recognized worldwide as one of the best reposados.
