 PRODUCTION

The Sipsmith gin is made from a base of its top-tier London Dry gin, which is left to rest on wild sloe berries picked in autumn. The result is a truly artisanal sloe gin, subtle, complex, and full of flavor. The sloe production process (a hedgerow fruit from the plum family) begins in autumn; the berries are frozen to break the skin and left to rest with the London Dry gin for three or four months, allowing enough time to impart the goodness of the fruit to the gin. Year after year, harvests vary due to the ever-changing and unpredictable British weather. Like a fine wine, each vintage produced has its own wonderfully unique character, with Sipsmith quality guaranteed.

 TASTING

Appearance: Dark red color.

Nose: Aroma of currants and ripe winter stone fruits with almond.

Palate: Soft notes of cherry and rounded fruitiness. Velvety mouthfeel with balanced sweetness.
