 PRODUCTION

Sharish Original is made with a selection of botanicals grown by the distillers themselves. This gin is part of a recipe full of Portuguese ingredients, from the DOP Bravo de Esmolfe apple to oranges and lemons from Alentejo, including fresh lime, and the traditional juniper berry and coriander seed, together with cinnamon, clove, and a soft touch of vanilla. The high number of hours of Alentejo sunshine contributes to a higher concentration of essential oils. All botanicals are distilled separately and later the alcohol content is adjusted and a blend is made with all the distillates. After this, a post-distillation infusion is made with cinnamon and vanilla.

 TASTING

Appearance: Crystal clear.

Nose: Predominance of citrus, especially orange peel and the soft sweetness of Bravo de Esmolfe apple and vanilla.

Palate: Flavors of juniper, clove, and coriander, with a slight spiciness on the finish.
