PREPARATION

Mount Gay XO is the result of a small blend of carefully selected matured rums, matured in American Whiskey, Bourbon and Cognac barrels.
Mount Gay Rum is made from 3 essential ingredients: coral filtered water, natural free-range yeast married to a proprietary heirloom strain and molasses; through 3 essential stages: fermentation, distillation, maturation and mixing. Its distillation is carried out using a pot still and a column still, the first produces intense aromas from the double distillation and the column still creates a rum with a notably soft flavor and character from a single distillate. Both distillations are mixed and matured. Creating the quality and legacy of rum that only Mount Gay can be.

TASTING

Perfect balance of vanilla, oak and notes of dry spices.

Mouth:
Round, smooth and richly creamy. Flavor of salted caramel, fig and baked cloves, with notes of dark chocolate and a long finish.
