PRODUCTION
Platú London Dry Gin is obtained through a triple distillation from English grain alcohol, in which the ten botanicals that compose it are macerated for a total of 30 days and monitored daily. The botanicals used in its production are: Juniper (Juniperus communis), coriander seeds (Coriandrum sativum), orris root (Iris germanica), licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), angelica root (Angelica archangelica), cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), nutmeg (Myristica fragrans), cassia bark (Cinnamomum cassia), lemon peel (Citrus x limon) and orange peel (Citrus x sinensis). Their maceration is carried out between the second and third distillation, in order to extract the best aromatic nuances in the best possible way. Finally, after a multiple filtration process, its transparency and brilliance are obtained.
TASTING
Appearance: Transparent, bright, and crystalline.
Nose: Elegant aromas of natural juniper berries with citrus notes, coriander, cinnamon, and licorice, giving it greater freshness.
Palate: The entry on the palate is smooth and fresh, with a perfect balance between citrus notes and juniper and the subtle complexity provided by the botanicals.
