Description
PREPARATION
With this delicate red vermouth, Bodegas Osborne, producer of Sherry wines since 1772, pays tribute to a centuries-old tradition with a combination of two of its famous Sherry wines, Medium and Pedro Ximénez, which provide a sweet, intense and unctuous touch, with the typical botanicals of the area and a special touch of freshness from the bitter orange peel.
When Thomas Osborne Mann arrived in Cádiz he founded the Osborne wineries from the acquisition of several small wineries that already existed. In his search, young Thomas focused on all of them having some characteristics that made them special: that they were located near the sea, that they had the minimum hours of direct sun and maximum humidity, that they maintained good ventilation for biological aging and that their walls were of a good thickness for the best thermal insulation.
TASTING
View:
Reddish mahogany color, with bright orange reflections.
Nose:
Complex aroma that combines notes of oxidative aging conferred by the traditional Criaderas and Soleras system of Sherry wines with spicy touches. Absinthe stands out over subtle notes of gypsy grass (dittany), cinnamon, nutmeg and bitter orange peel.
Mouth:
In the mouth it is unctuous, velvety, with a great balance between the bitterness of the botanicals and the traits of Sherry (nuts and raisins).
