Enrique Mendoza Petit Verdot 75cl.
Enrique Mendoza Petit Verdot is a single-varietal red wine with D.O. Alicante, which shows the strong character of the Petit Verdot variety, with aromas of ripe fruits, toasted notes and touches of minerality under an earthy and spicy background. A wine with a very broad entry, very good acidity and slightly polished tannins, perfect to drink with white meats with sauce, mushrooms, vegetables, red meats with sauce, roasted red meats, roast chicken and roasts.

Winemaking
The grape used to make Enrique Mendoza Petit Verdot red wine comes from Finca el Chaconero, in the area called “Cabezo de la Virgen” in Villena. The harvest of this crop took place in October and was made by fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 24 days at 27°C and malolactic fermentation also in stainless steel tanks. It remained in barrel for 15 months: 10 months in new Oregon American oak and 5 months in 1-year-old French Allier oak. Due to its artisanal production process, Bodegas Mendoza recommends decanting, as this wine has not been clarified, chilled, or microfiltered, so natural sediments may appear with age.
