Doorly's 3 years Gold Barbados 70cl.

Doorly's 3 years is produced in one of the most respected distilleries in Barbados, unlike many white rums on the market, this rum does go through actual aging before being filtered to eliminate the color. It is made from sugar cane molasses that ferments with selected yeasts to obtain a cane wine rich in fruity aromas. A traditional still combination is used, which provides body and complexity. The continuous column is also used to provide cleanliness and softness. Later, both distillates are mixed to achieve the characteristic profile of Barbados. All rum ages a minimum of 3 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels under the tropical climate of Barbados, which accelerates the interaction between rum and wood, providing notes of vanilla, coconut and ripe fruit.

After aging, the rum is filtered through activated carbon to eliminate the color. The objective is to preserve the flavors acquired during the 3 years in barrel while maintaining the appearance of a white rum.

Nose:

Aromatic and fresh. Notes of coconut, vanilla, pineapple and banana. Light touches of oak and sweet spices.

Mouth:

Smooth and silky entry, with vanilla and coconut flavors from barrel aging. Notes of tropical fruits, caramel and soft spices. Medium finish, clean and dry with persistence of vanilla, coconut and hints of wood.
