Description

PREPARATION

Grapes: 80% Chardonnay, 10% Chenin Blanc and 10% Cabernet Franc.

The lands of the Loire Valley, listed as a UNESCO heritage site, have a stunning rock, tufa. Tender and white, it was used for the construction of castles, but it is also ideal for growing vines. This cuvée Excellence De Chanceny Crémant de Loire Brut 2014 is made from grapes from plots located on clay-calcareous soil. The selection of plots is carried out on the potential of ripe fruits, through manual harvesting of the grapes, gentle pressing and fermentation at a cool temperature (18°C) that allows good conservation of the aromas. The second fermentation is carried out in the bottle according to the traditional method after selecting the best juices. Aging for at least 24 months on slats in the stone cellars before disgorgement brings an incomparable delicacy to the bubbles.

TASTING

View: Pale color with golden reflections with a fine and elegant effervescence.

 

Nose: Fine and complex nose that fuses floral, fruity and toasted notes.

 

Mouth: Gourmet fruity attack (peach, pineapple) with a velvety evolution all in finesse and freshness that provides a persistent aromatic finish with aromas of dried fruits.

 

Recommended temperature: 8-10ºC.
