PREPARATION
Grapes: Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada.
The Freixenet Excelencia Brut Nature cava is made in equal parts from Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada with fair aging, which gives it the necessary youth to make it fresh and pleasant to the palate.
The must is obtained from the fruit of the vineyard, which after two fermentations will be transformed into cava. The use of selected own yeasts, added to the aging time and a job well done, are essential to obtain the best product. The Freixenet winemakers seek excellence in each and every one of the cavas they produce, contributing their oenological wisdom and desire for innovation. Precision, rigor, commitment, love for the territory and respect for the environment are the insignia of its technical team.
TASTING
View: Pale straw yellow and abundant medium-sized bubbles, constant release, a slight cord when reaching the surface of the glass.
Nose: Aromas of youth in harmony with the varietal aromas and those acquired throughout the months of aging.
Mouth: Fresh and dry, with the presence of subtle aging notes.
Recommended temperature: 5-8º C.
