Vollereaux Cuvée Marguerite Rosé Vintage 2012 is a "Vintage Rosé Champagne" made in a single vintage - 2012 and left to ferment in the bottle for no less than 7 years before releasing this magnificent Champagne. Maison Vollereaux has 40 hectares of vineyards in Coteaux Sud d’Epernay in the Marne Valley. At the time of harvest, all the technical means are used to safeguard the natural specificity of the terroirs and musts resulting from pressing, which is why they combine tradition and modernity through the use of two modern presses and one traditional press. The particularity of Vollereaux Champagnes is due to the richness of the terroir but also to the work of Franck Vollereaux who carries out a meticulous blending exercise every year.
TASTING
View: Soft pink tone with slightly salmon reflections. The bubble is fine and lively. This delicate effervescence feeds a persistent pearl, which reveals a fluid and luminous circle of bubbles.
Nose: The first nose has a beautiful finesse. Immediately floral and lemony, it evolves with fine notes of red fruits such as raspberry and currant. When aired, exotic fruits, guava and pink grapefruit accompany this bouquet of citrus flowers.
Mouth: The attack on the palate is lively. This 2012 rosé champagne presents a pleasant liveliness carried by a still nervous bubble. The texture is crunchy. This balance reveals the fiery temperament of this cuvée.
