Flor De Ahillas Rosado 2020 75cl.

PREPARATION

Grapes: Bobal, Monastrell and Garnacha.

For the production of the wine Flor De Ahillas Rosado 2020 the entry of the grapes occurs first thing in the morning, taking advantage of the coldest hours of the day. The harvest is carried out in boxes of only 15 kg and carbonated snow is used to make it, thus avoiding color oxidation and aromatic loss. A pre-fermentation maceration is carried out for 24 hours at a temperature of 4ºC. Fermentation temperatures are around 15ºC, which allows fermentation to be extended over time and the aromas to be preserved. Finally, active aging is carried out on lees for 30 days. The Martínez Palmero family has been producing their wines in an artisanal way since 2002. They started in a garage with 100 bottles, and today they make 22,000 of their 5 wines in the Ahillas Valley, whose lands have been cultivated since the ancient Muslims occupied the Iberian Peninsula.

TASTING

View: As soon as you see it, through the bottle, the color invites you to taste it. Already in the glass, you can see its slow, bright pink tear.

Nose: Its aromas of very sweet strawberry and peach stand out, with hints of caramel.

Mouth: In the mouth you can appreciate its powerful acidity and freshness, it still has slight sweet and astringent points at the same time. The aftertaste is intense and unusual for a rosé. It suggests a good harmony and invites you to taste it again.
