The Enate Bocetos Chardonnay-Gewürztraminer 2021 white wine belongs to the exclusive limited edition 'Bocetos' from Bodegas Enate, which includes a set of unique and unrepeatable wines that are the result of the winery's philosophy of continuous improvement. It is a wine with the agility and sparkle of Enate Chardonnay-234 but more fluid, somewhat less dense and unctuous. With the floral and spicy note somewhat more discreet than in the single-varietal Enate Gewürztraminer. And, as a culmination, with a subtle reminder of the toasts of a top quality French oak barrel. Without a doubt, a wine with great personality, with weight, density and maturity and very low production (barely 3,500 bottles). Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany cheeses and fish.

PREPARATION

Grapes: 70% Chardonnay and 30% Gewürztraminer.

For the production of Enate Bocetos Chardonnay-Gewürztraminer 2021 white wine only 15% of the wine has undergone fermentation in French oak barrels. Once again, Enate has opted to take great care of the details to obtain the balance that best integrates the vitality and freshness of the fruit with a light and discreet memory of the roasting aromas of the barrel, in addition to enriching it with lactic and creamy tones.

TASTING

View: Straw yellow color with greenish highlights. A young white wine with a very bright and clean appearance, almost transparent.

 

Nose: The characteristic aromas of the variety dominate: lychees, white flower, passion fruit, rose petals, a light touch of honey and some herbaceous memories in the background. A very friendly and delicate aromatic set.

 

Mouth: Its entry into the mouth is glyceric, with a soft, silky and slightly sweet palate. This white wine from the Enate winery offers marked acidity and a slightly bitter aftertaste that gives it depth in the mouth. Retronasally, aromas of rose jam, pear in syrup and bay leaf are appreciated.

 

Recommended temperature: 7-10º C.
