Description
PREPARATION
Grape: 100% Chardonnay. Its vinification is after direct pressing of the grapes and light pressing in which only the first fractions are used. Fermentation at 18ºC in barrels and remaining on its lees for 5 months. Aging for a minimum of 6 months in 500L barrels. This achieves the typicality of the varietal which, together with the characteristics of the enclave, reflects its very peculiar personality. Its production area is Venta del Moro. The Utiel-Requena Protected Designation of Origin enjoys a homogeneous geographical identity, is located on a plateau 45 km in diameter, and has common climatic features. It comprises more than 1,800 km2 with an average altitude above sea level of 700m. It is a poor soil whose peculiarity is the superposition of horizons of limestone and red clay loams and fine sandstones formed in the Tertiary era. Therefore, you can enjoy a very well-oxygenated land with great biological wealth and great viticultural potential. The climate is continental with Mediterranean influence. The average annual temperature is 14ºC, with a thermal amplitude of more than 17ºC. The winters are cold and long; summer is relatively short; Autumn is short and temperatures suffer a sharp drop.
TASTING
View:
Pale yellow, clean and bright.
Nose: Of good intensity and complexity, fresh with a predominance of notes of ripe white fruit, pineapple, light citrus tones and hints of dried fruits.
Mouth: Good entry into the mouth, it is fresh, silky in the palate, it shows a certain unctuousness, good acidity and a structured and balanced palate that leads us to a long finish. In the aftertaste, notes of ripe white fruit and a sensation of creaminess return.
