Description
PREPARATION
Grape: 100% Merseguera. Sericis Cepasvies Merseguera is made using the carbonic maceration technique of the Merseguera variety. When the intracellular fermentation reaches 2 alcoholic degrees, it is pressed and fermentation ends in oak barrels where it remains for three months, carrying out a battonage once a week. The wine then remains on its lees for three months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. The Valencia Protected Designation of Origin is located near the Mediterranean coast of the east of the country at an altitude that ranges between 250 and 1000 meters. The climate is warm and the influence of the Mediterranean Sea is very dominant. Strains are grown in limestone-clay soils, which, in combination with the constant presence of intense sun, give rise to fruity wines with very good structure and moderate tannins. Wine suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
TASTING
View: Yellow color with greenish nuances, very bright.
Nose: Medium intensity on the nose with notes of ripe stone fruit, with floral components, finishing with hints of fennel and balsamic.
Mouth: In the mouth it is unctuous, with hints of apricot and dried apricots. A wine with Mediterranean air, balanced acidity and a sensation of notable length. Very persistent.
Ideal service temperature between 6 and 8ºC.
