PREPARATION
The Opthimus 25 Years Rum is distilled in copper stills and matures using the Solera system in an artisanal way in American white oak barrels that were previously used to age Kentucky bourbon for a minimum of 18 years, which provides it with spectacular harmony. For its production, the products come from the fermentation and distillation of cane juice and not from must or molasses, as is usual. It is a wonderful combination of 25-year-old soleras that are selected by the company's own rum experts to offer an excellent result. Made by the renowned Oliver&Oliver house. Founded in the mid-19th century by the Mallorcan of Spanish origin Juanillo Oliver, it has a long history and recognized international prestige in the production of high-quality rums thanks to its mother rums and long aging.
TASTING
View: Deep and bright mahogany color.
Nose: Delicate and persistent aromas, with fruity and toasted, spicy notes, accompanied by vanilla, almonds and old oaks.
Mouth: Sophisticated and exquisite on the palate, round, honeyed and pleasant, with balanced notes of Bourbon and vanilla.
