PREPARATION

Opthimus 21 Years Rum is made from the juice extracted from sugar cane. Its aging process is carried out using the Solera system in American oak barrels that had previously contained bourbon, for a period of 21 years. Due to its prolonged maturation process, it is a vigorous, strong, structured, modern rum with high aromatic complexity. According to Dominican Law there must be at least fifteen percent of the rum aged. It is not chill filtered, hand bottled and individually listed in the Dominican Republic. Made by the renowned Oliver&Oliver house. Founded in the mid-19th century by the Mallorcan of Spanish origin Juanillo Oliver, it has a long history and recognized international prestige in the production of high-quality rums thanks to its mother rums and long aging.

TASTING

View: Dark color with cherry red reflections.

Nose: Complex and refined bouquet, with a very pleasant, deliciously soft aroma, which combines exotic Caribbean notes with touches of toffee and banana.

Mouth: On the palate it has a broad, structured, balanced and vigorous character. It is sweet and tasty, with notes of cane syrup and concentrated toasted touches derived from its barrel aging process.
