Pepe Mendoza Casa Agricola El Veneno 2021 75cl.
El Veneno is a long-aging wine, made with 100% Monastrell grapes by the Casa Agrícola de Pepe Mendoza winery. Its name is due to the nickname of “Uncle Veneno”, a man who was quite serious, rude and harsh with his neighbors, but he left them a magnificent exceptional vineyard in his memory.

Grapes: 100% Monastrell.
To make El Veneno the harvest is carried out manually. Once in the winery, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented, for 8-10 days, together with the yeasts themselves in wooden vats with a capacity of 1,000 kilograms. Aged for 12 months in new barrels and one year in Allier French oak. It subsequently spends 8 months in the bottle.
