Description

 PRODUCTION

NB Gin has been handcrafted since 2013 in small batches of no more than one hundred liters, in a custom-made still in London, from pure British grain alcohol and 8 carefully selected botanicals: juniper, Chinese cinnamon, coriander seeds, orris root, lemon peel, angelica root, cardamom, and grains of paradise.

It is the fruit of the love of a married couple, Steve and Vivienne Muir, who were previously lawyers before building an improvised homemade still in their kitchen and beginning the family quest to develop the 'perfect' gin. In 2011, the Muirs obtained a distilling license and bought their first still, which was later followed by a custom still and the creation of their own distillery. After hundreds of trial batches, they found the perfect recipe for making NB Gin.

 TASTING

Appearance: Colorless.

 

Nose: Citrus fruity aromas, floral with hints of carnation or rose.

 

Palate: Citrus and dry flavor. Clean and fresh with a wonderfully smooth texture. Full and complex, very pure.
