Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Viura, White Garnacha and Malvasía de Rioja.
To make the red wine Muga Blanco 2021 a manual harvest is carried out. After a light maceration of the skins with the must in the press, it is fermented in wooden vats of different volumes and new French oak barrels from the Nevers district with a very light toast. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, it remains in the barrels for 4 months, making 2 battonagges per week during the first months and one daily in the last month, to keep its fine lees in contact with the wine, protecting it from oxygen and providing softness in the mouth and complexity.
TASTING
View:
Nice straw yellow color.
Nose:
Complex, where citrus notes appear, such as lemon, lemon cake, floral aromas (white flower), stone fruit (peach) and even notes of vanilla.
Mouth:
Well balanced acidity. Powerful where citrus, floral and stone fruit notes return with a very long finish.
