Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 55% Pinot noir and 45% chardonnay.
To make the Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2013 champagne, the harvest was carried out manually, with vinification through a long and smooth infusion, a technique specific to the house. Some Chardonnay musts are poured into a Pinot Noir maceration so that they ferment together and integrate perfectly. It is aged for a minimum of 6 years in rhyme and rested for 8 months after disgorging. 20% of wines vinified in wood and a dosage of 7g/l.
TASTING
View:
Pale pink color, light and delicate. Bright, ultra-fine and dynamic effervescence.
Nose:
Refined aroma of freshly picked acidic red fruits (forest strawberries, raspberries) and lemon-scented flower petals. The perfumed fragrances intermingle delicately, pure and precise, progressively enriching with nuances of fresh almonds, bread and spices (cocoa beans). These nuances have such an ethereal and melting tone that it surpasses the aromatic.
Mouth:
Intense, velvety and enveloping. It stands out as evidence after such perfumes. The red fruits, juicy and concentrated, progressively tend towards raspberry liqueur supported by bright and sweet citrus fruits. Harmony and delicacy are reinforced with a creamy effervescence that provides a concentrated and spherical sensation. Afterwards, the mineral freshness stretches this matter which becomes vertical, calcareous, saline and sapid.
