Description

PREPARATION

St~Germain is made with fresh elderflowers, hand-picked once a year in late spring, when the flavor and aroma of the flowers are at their peak. Elderflowers are treated with great care from the time they are hand-picked to the time they are bottled. This liqueur is made using ancient French techniques, beginning the traditional process of dynamic maceration, infusing warm water with the aroma and flavor of the finest, freshest elderflowers over the course of several hours. The all-natural elderflower infusion is then carefully decanted and filtered to remove the flowers and stems. The quality, aroma and flavor of each infusion are diligently inspected before being blended with previous blends, the result of which creates the exact fragrance and flavor profile of the elixir that will eventually become St~Germain. The final infusion of 100% natural elderflower is skillfully mixed with wine spirit, water, sugar and neutral grain liquor.

TASTING

View: Golden color, which comes from pollen, no artificial coloring is added.

 

Nose: Notes of lychy and green grape.

 

Mouth: Captivating flavor reminiscent of tropical fruits, peach, pear, citrus and a touch of honeysuckle.
