Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% Tinto Fino. The alcoholic fermentation of Legaris Peñaranda 2017 was carried out in small conical stainless steel tanks. It was allowed to be made spontaneously with wild yeasts, in order to preserve the uniqueness of this area. Our intervention was minimal (except for frequent manual blows) and the expression of the grapes is at its highest level. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in a cubic concrete tank. It was aged for 10 months in 500 L (132 gal) French oak barrels. Subsequently, the final blend was made and bottled unclarified (unclarified, unfiltered) to maintain its typicity. In July 2019, a total of 2,870 numbered bottles of this wine were filled. This red wine has a generic back label, like the rest of the winery's most innovative range (Calmo Legaris, Premos de Legaris and Vinos de Pueblo).
