Olmedillo de Roa Rosado 2021 is the first rosé that is included in our Pueblo Wines collection, which aims to express the richness, uniqueness and diversity of the Ribera del Duero. In this 2021 vintage, we want to show a traditional wine production from the Ribera del Duero area, the claret-type rosé, made from two native grape varieties (Tinto Fino and Albillo) from vineyards located in Olmedillo de Roa (Burgos).

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 60% Tinto Fino and 40% Albillo. In Legaris Olmedillo de Roa Rosado 2021, after manual selection on the belt, both varieties were vatted together in a stainless steel tank. They carried out a 24-hour pre-fermentation maceration and proceeded to pressing. The first part of the alcoholic fermentation took place in a small truncated conical stainless steel tank. Halfway through the alcoholic fermentation, it was transferred to 2 concrete tanks, where the fermentation ended. After racking and sulphiting, they aged on lees for 6 months in the same concrete tanks. Subsequently, the final blend was made and in June 2022, 4,400 numbered bottles of this wine were bottled.
TASTING
View: Very attractive pale pink color, fruit of the pre-fermentation maceration of both varieties.
Nose:
The nose is very expressive, evoking nuances of red fruit such as raspberry and aniseed notes.
Mouth:
Balanced, subtle and elegant, with a natural freshness that invites you to continue enjoying it.
