Jameson Triple Triple is triple distilled and triple barrel matured. Jameson Distillery tested adding bourbon and sherry casks to hand-selected Malaga casks, and it turned out to be a match made in wooden heaven.

Description
PREPARATION
It is obtained from triple distillation in three copper stills, the first is the casting still, the second is the Feints Still or tails still and the third is the Spirit Still or spirit still and is subsequently aged in Bourbon barrels, Sherry Butts and Port Pipes. The barrels are stored in their huge, dark and aromatic warehouse in Midleton, where they rest and mature for years. Each barrel loses approximately 2% of its volume through evaporation each year. This is known as the "Part of the Angels."
TASTING
View: Amber color.
Nose:
Initial fruity notes of sweet pear develop into a spicy citrus peel with some dark fruits in the background. Hints of cinnamon and clove work delicately in balance with the sweet influence of Malaga wine barrel.
Mouth:
Exquisite, with sweet orchard fruits and light touches of black currants, plums and raisins. The spices slowly build up adding depth with hints of clove and black pepper, layered over oak tannins that add dark chocolate and licorice. Lingering finish, with spices slowly fading to reveal fruit and oak.
