Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Chardonnay, Macabeo, Parellada and Pinot Noir.
Elyssia Gran Cuvée is an Emblematic Cava from Freixenet. Each variety used is made individually. It is a coupage with a minimum of 18 months of aging, really interesting that contains a small percentage of Pinot Noir wine made as blanc de noirs.
The Chardonnay variety wines obtained from this variety are very elegant, providing both floral (acacia), sweet (honey), and ripe fruit (pineapple, peach) aromas. They are wines with high aromatic intensity and also high alcohol content and acidity. The outstanding aroma of green fruits (apple, pear) of the Macabeo and the delicate floral aromas of the Parellada, provide balance, equilibrium and final finesse to this Gran Cuveé in which the Chardonnay variety predominates. The Pinot Noir variety is characterized by being a variety with a low tannic structure, which provides medium body and elegant and fruity sensations in the mouth.
TASTING
View: Straw yellow color with greenish edges with fine bubbles that form a permanent rosary and a light crown.
Nose: Pleasant aromas of acacia flower and honey on an elegant background of ripe fruits (pineapple and peach).
Mouth: Soft and honeyed entry into the mouth. Fruit flavors return in the mouth, giving it a pleasant acidity. It has a long and harmonious finish.
