Finca El Serrano 2020 75cl.

Grape: 100% Monastrell. The Finca el Serrano grapes come from the Finca El Serrano plot, in the Protected Designation of Origin of Alicante, on the east coast of Spain. It enjoys a warm climate and the beneficial influence of the Mediterranean throughout the year. The climate is continental in the mountainous interior areas. Vine cultivation and winemaking are carried out with as little intervention as possible, trying to reflect the full potential of the terroir. The grapes were harvested on October 4, 2020. They fermented at 25ºC with their own yeast from the skins, with gentle pumping over. The pressing was carried out after 30 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks and the wine was subsequently racked into French oak fouds for aging for six months before being bottled. The soils are limestone, with granulometry and texture especially suitable for growing grapes in extreme conditions. They are very poor soils that favor the ripening of the grapes so that they offer the best aromas and flavors.

Nose:

Aroma of high intensity, highlighting the very ripe fruit on a background of toasted oak of great elegance.  

Mouth: Fleshy, complex, with an unctuous palate, balanced tannins and a roasted finish.
