Enate Varietals 2019 75cl.
Enate Varietales 2019 is an elegant wine full of nuances, the result of the fusion of the most select varieties grown in the vineyards of Bodegas Enate. On the nose, the floral notes of the Merlot and Tempranillo grape varieties, the spicy and balsamic notes of the Cabernet, and the mineral and black fruit notes of the Syrah are masterfully combined. Ideal with smoked, roasted or red meats, and even lighter dishes such as rabbit in sauce with plums or a dessert with cheese as the protagonist, such as a cheese and yogurt cake with currants. The label design is an original work for Enate by artist Salvador Victoria.

Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Cabernet, Merlot, Tempranilllo and Syrah.
For the production of Enate Enate Varietales 2019 red wine the grapes of each variety arrived at the winery with excellent quality. Each variety fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at 28ºC for Cabernet and Merlot and around 26ºC for Syrah. Malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels, in which it was aged for 18 months. Before bottling, the wine remained in tank for a year to refine and polish its tannic structure. Since filtration treatments have been minimized, a sediment of bitartrates may be present. This phenomenon is natural and constitutes the guarantee that the wine has not been subjected to any physical or chemical treatment.
TASTING
View: Bright and clean cherry red color with a medium-high layer.
Nose: Intense and very expressive aroma in which notes of forest strawberries intertwine with floral and spicy aromas (paprika, cumin, oregano), on a background of toffee and praline released by the barrel.
Mouth: The palate is fleshy and broad thanks to noble and mature tannins. Tasty and fresh on the palate, with a spherical tannic structure. Long and seductive aftertaste, with an enveloping and elegant finish in which the toasted nuances reappear.
Recommended temperature: 16ºC.
