Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Tempranillo, Cabernet sauvignon and Merlot.
To make the red wine Dehesa de los Canónigos 15 Meses 2020, the harvest and selection of the grapes was done manually. Once in the winery, and after a traditional fermentation process, it is aged for 15 months in American oak. The wine gains in power and structure, the complexity provided by the particularities of each of the plots is integrated with the aromas derived from aging. Finally, it is left to rest for another 15 months in the bottle, before going on the market.
TASTING
View:
Ruby color, medium-high layer.
Nose:
Medium intensity. The primary aromas of fresh red fruits stand out, such as red plum or raspberry. Aromas of black fruits such as blueberries or currant, scrubland, bramble leaf and licorice are also appreciated. Among the secondary aromas, typical of barrel aging, nutmeg, pepper and cedar predominate.
Mouth:
Fresh entry, with excellent acidity that will ensure its aging. Sweet tannins and pleasant mineral texture. It is a wine of great persistence. Recommended temperature: Serve between 14 and 16ºC.
