Château Le Virou Le Silence 2020 75cl.
Château Le Virou is the largest estate in Europe with its 100 hectares surrounded by walls. Centuries of history were necessary for the face of this wine estate to take shape and give birth to the sublime estate we know today. The soul of Le Virou dates back to the 17th century. The estate was one of the two great relays of silence of “L'Order of Carmes Déchaussés” and welcomed monks from all over France to meet in silence. For almost two centuries, they built this large monastery, a chapel and laid out numerous underground passages that connect Le Virou with the different strategic points of the region. Pierre Jean Larraqué attaches great importance to the history of his estates. For him, these represent an inheritance that he must pass on. This wine is powerful in the mouth and aromatic, all in balance. Aged for 12 months in concrete vats. It is perfect to enjoy with meats and cheeses.
