PREPARATION

Cañada La Torre Malvasía is a wine made from careful selection of the best Malvasía variety grapes from organic farming and harvested early in the day on September 14, 2021 in 15 kg boxes. Viticulture and production with the least intervention, trying to reflect the full potential of the terroir. Gentle crushing and cold maceration for 12 hours. Fermentation with natural yeasts at 18ºC for 20 days in a stainless steel tank where it remains on its lees for 6 months. Racked into a 5,000L French oak foudre for 4 months before bottling. Its Cañada La Torre plot is located in the west of Valencia between Fuenterrobles and Utiel at 1,090 meters above sea level. Sand-silty soils. 27-year-old vineyards planted on double Royat cord trellises on a 2Ha plot with a valley in the center surrounded by almond and holm oak trees. The climate is continental with Mediterranean influence. The average annual temperature is 14ºC, with a thermal amplitude of more than 17ºC. The winters are cold and long; summer is relatively short.

View:

Yellow with greenish nuances, very bright.  

Nose: Very intense and highly complex, with a wide range of aromas of ripe fruits (lychees, peaches, red apples) with floral nuances of orange blossom and an aftertaste of dried fruits.

Mouth: Tasty and aromatic, unctuous and fresh with a long finish in the mouth.
