The Balvenie The Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 70cl. - Case
The Balvenie The Sweet Toast of American Oak whiskey aged for 12 years was born to produce an even fruitier and sweeter The Balvenie, when apprentice malt master Kelsey McKechnie had the brilliant idea of importing virgin oak barrels from Kentucky, which were filled with The Balvenie aged in bourbon barrels. The result is a deliciously complex whiskey with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla. Presentation: Bottle with case.

Description
PREPARATION
The Balvenie The Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Years ages in pre-toasted virgin Kentucky oak barrels, which receive a deeper toast to bring the heat deeper into the wood and bring out as much flavor as possible. The toasted barrels are filled with whiskey aged primarily in ex-bourbon barrels, before being left to mature for a few more months, a process known as 'barrel finishing' and pioneered by Kelsey's mentor, David C. Stewart.
In this way, the classic flavor of The Balvenie is reinforced by even stronger and sweeter warm honey and coconut notes, acquiring a truly surprising fruity flavor and the color is really rich.
