Amaro Montenegro 70cl.

Amaro Montenegro is a bitter Italian liqueur where herbs take center stage. Perfect for digestif enthusiasts, its flavor is so rich and versatile that it can be enjoyed in many ways: neat or on the rocks, but also in updated classic cocktails or in the creation of innovative drinks. It was created in 1885 under the name Elisir Lungavita and immediately gained widespread acclaim. Eleven years later, coinciding with the wedding of the charming Princess Elena of Montenegro to Prince Victor Emmanuel III, Stanislao Cobianchi, the founder, decided to dedicate this historic elixir to His Royal Highness and changed its name to Amaro Montenegro. Description

PREPARATION

Amaro Montenegro is made using a secret blend of 40 plants from all corners of the world, including: sour and sweet oranges, small dehydrated oranges, coriander seeds, oregano, marjoram, mugwort, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. The plants are chopped, cooked and converted into extracts thanks to their maceration in a hydroalcoholic solution for a period of 20 to 30 days. The distillation process constitutes the essence of the liquor, its purest form from carefully chosen plants. At the end of this long and delicate process, during which each of these 40 plants is used in a unique way, 12 essences remain. To provide greater secrecy to the recipe, the 12 essences are combined and transformed into six aromatic notes to which, after combining them following the original recipe, alcohol, water and sugar are added. At the end of this process, the seventh and final note is added, the result of a microdistillation of 5 unique plants. The resulting liquid is so intense that only 1 drop is needed per bottle.

Amaro Montenegro is crafted using a secret blend of 40 plants from around the world, including sour and sweet oranges, dried baby oranges, coriander seeds, oregano, marjoram, mugwort, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. The plants are chopped, cooked, and then extracted through maceration in a hydroalcoholic solution for 20 to 30 days. The distillation process then creates the essence of the liqueur, its purest form from carefully selected plants.
