Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Monastrell.
To make the Enrique Mendoza Rosado Monastrell wine the best grapes from its vineyards located in Villena were selected. The grapes were harvested at dawn when it was colder and pressed in the winery, taking only the flower must, the finest and noblest part. The must was cold decanted and fermented with native yeasts. Finally it remained on its lees until bottling. Bodegas Mendoza was born in 1989 with an innovative and revolutionary spirit, which came to continue writing the history of Alicante wine, dominating all types of varieties and conquering the entire world. Enrique Mendoza initially opted for foreign varieties, but his roots in the territory have stopped at the native Monastrell variety. Among its values stands out intervening in the vineyard in a minimal way so that it lives for another centuries.
