PREPARATION

To make the whiskey The Macallan Double Cask 30 Years Old has been aged for thirty years in a harmonious union of American and European oak barrels that have previously contained sherry, to create a unique flavor and character. The Macallan is a distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland, which was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824. One of the first legally licensed distilleries in Scotland, it has built a reputation for offering excellent quality products with a distinctive character. The exceptional oak barrels have made The Macallan famous. They are hand selected. Oak is the one that contributes the most to achieving the quality, natural color and characteristic aromas and flavors of this excellent single malt whiskey.

Amber color.  

Nose:

Aroma of fresh honeycomb, sweet toffee, red apple, caramelized figs and vanilla.  

Mouth:

Mild flavor of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg with Madagascar vanilla, dried fruit and oak. Long finish with sweet oak and hints of vanilla.
