Sericis Cepas Viejas Viognier 2021 75cl.

PREPARATION

Grape: 100% Viognier, grapes from organic farming.   Selection of vineyards of the Viognier variety from organic farming. Traditional production, with fermentation in oak barrels where it remains for four months, carrying out a battonage once a week. The wine then remains on its lees for two more months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Its production area is in the Mediterranean area, at an altitude that ranges between 250 and 1000 meters. The climate is warm and the influence of the Mediterranean Sea is very dominant. For centuries, vines have been cultivated in limestone-clay soils, which in combination with the constant presence of intense sun give rise to fruity wines with very good structure.   Wine suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

TASTING

View:

Yellow with greenish nuances, very bright.  

Nose: High intensity nose with notes of peach and apricot, accompanied by a floral component, finishing with soft mineral touches.

Mouth: In the mouth it is unctuous, with weight in the mouth, hints of apricot, dried apricots. A wine with Mediterranean air, balanced acidity and a sensation of notable length. Very persistent.

  Ideal service temperature between 6 and 8ºC.
