Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 100% tempranillo.
The Pesquera Crianza wine is made within the municipality of Pesquera de Duero, facing south at an altitude of more than 800 meters. With an area of 200 hectares in total and heterogeneous soils, mostly clay loam with the presence of limestone. As for the harvest, the harvest was healthy and of exceptional quality. Vinification with traditional production, with destemming and subsequent alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It is aged for a minimum of 12 months in American oak barrels and the rest in the bottle until it is released to the market.
TASTING
View:
Clean and shiny appearance. Beautiful and elegant intense cherry color.
Nose:
It has a medium-high aromatic intensity with hints of red fruits such as raspberry and currant.
Mouth:
Fresh entry with a silky and very sweet mid palate, perfectly integrated acidity and a little marked and very pleasant tannin. In the aftertaste you can see black fruit such as blackberry. The wood is perceived very well integrated with those notes of toast and vanilla typical of aging in American oak.
