Maker's Mark 70cl.
Maker's Mark is the whiskey that changed the way we think about bourbon, all because one man changed the way he thought about making it. Bill Samuels made a whiskey with an exceptional flavor, neither bitter nor strong. Each bottle of Maker's Mark is hand-dipped in their signature red wax at the distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, just the way Mr. Bill would have wanted.

Description
PREPARATION
Maker's Mark Whiskey is made from 16% soft red winter wheat and 70% locally grown corn, complete with malted barley. Through a double distillation process, impurities are removed to achieve a more refined whiskey. Classic Maker's Mark starts out as full-strength bourbon, is chill filtered and diluted to its optimal flavor profile. The pure calcium and magnesium rich water surrounding the distillery produces better drinking water and better sour malt in which yeast can thrive. The yeast ferments in original 525-pound cypress tanks that are over 100 years old and are rotated by hand to ensure proper exposure to the varying temperatures within the aging room. Whiskey is aged for flavor, not time. The master distiller and expert tasting panel determine when the whiskey is ready, which is usually after six to seven years. Once the bourbon is deemed Maker's worthy, the barrel is emptied and blended in batches.
