Description
PREPARATION
After extensive visits to the United Kingdom by Dario Parra and, of course, enjoying what for him was God's drink, he returned to Colombia determined to create a Colombian gin. Back home he studied various formulas based on his experiences and finally created Colombian Ortodoxy gin. For years, he produced it for his own personal consumption, never dreaming that his invention would one day become an internationally sold gin. The formula of red fruits, botanicals, peels, roots and spices gives Colombian Orthodox Gin a unique flavor profile. For its production, barrels that previously contained rum are used. This gin is filtered to obtain a brilliantly transparent result, very smooth, silky tropical aroma, sweet and spicy, with citrus notes.
CATA
View: Full of light and body, proof of its quality and clarity..
Nose: Balance between the bitterness of the roots, the freshness of the botanicals, the bittersweetness of the berries and peels and the warmth of the spices. The initial aroma is juniper and angelica combined with mint, lemon and pepper. Secondary aromas of cinnamon, cranberry and ginger merge to create a classic dry gin.
Mouth: Tasty, smooth, but bittersweet with the astringency of classic gin.
