Knockando 21 Years 70cl. - Case

Knockando 21 Years Master Reserve is a malt whiskey of great amplitude and smoothness, balanced and with a rich and delicate flavor, made in Speyside and matured slowly undisturbed for more than 21 years. They say from Knockando that whiskey maturation is a mysterious art rather than a science and that only a few single malt whiskeys reach very advanced ages in barrels without losing their character or quality. In each bottle of Knockando whiskey you will find the product of a single season or year of production, a practice that continues to distinguish this delicate Speyside whiskey from almost all other single malts. Description

PREPARATION

The amount of peat used in malting the barley during the production of Knockando 21 Years Master Reserve Whiskey is carefully controlled in order not to lose the balance of the flavor of the final product. A distinctive practice of the Knockando distillery is that the best spirits are fermented in the coolest areas of the tank; Although they take longer to mature, the product is softer and more balanced. The aging process of this whiskey occurs under the best ambient and temperature conditions to guarantee the best results. For 21 years the drink is matured in barrels that housed Bourbon and Sherry, which gives the whiskey an exquisite flavor of honey, vanilla and fruit. The Knockando distillery is located on the banks of the River Spey, which gives its name to Speyside, a region in the northeastern Scottish mountains recognized as the home of the best single malt whiskeys. For more than 100 years they have been dedicated to the production of whiskey and were the first to enrich their processes with electric light, which was a great advance for the union of mixers and marketers of this type of liquor.
