Winemaking
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir.
Each step in the making of G.H. Mumm Cordon Rougedetermines its quality and perfection. Thoroughness and control mark all stages, from the selection of the best grapes, to separate vinification, through a micro oxygenation process in a stainless steel tank in order to obtain a wide range of aromas and sensations capable of expressing the identity of each variety and vineyard. The creation process culminates by mixing, with great care, wines from the same year and between 25 and 30% reserve wines, preserved for a maximum of four years, to provide complexity and greater depth to the final blend. G.H Mumm Cordon Rouge rests in rhyme for 30 months, which is more than double the time determined by the regulatory board.
Tasting notes
View: Bright sparkling, light golden yellow liquid with a large number of fine and elegant bubbles.
Nose: The nose reveals aromas of fresh ripe fruit (peaches and apricots), tropical notes (lychee and pineapple).
Mouth: An explosion of freshness in the mouth, followed by a strong persistence. Complex aromas of fresh fruits and caramel perpetuate the intensity.
Recommended temperature: 8ºC.
